DJ @MikeDelinquent has performed and broadcasted on all forms of radio station, ranging from BBC 1xtra to KISS 100 to Galaxy to Capital Radio Group to pirate stations such as Shine, Xtreme and Rinse FM.

Mike has always emphasised the importance of braking new music to the masses, and during his 1 year stint on London’s Shine FM in 2005 he was instrumental in exposing brand new UK garage, produced by new young producers including himself, to the listeners. This exposure led to a new buzz about the London pirate scene, and new anthems were created, which eventually saw them enter the UK top 40.

Mike Delinquent’s success in the charts so far comes in the form of bassline anthem “My Destiny”, a track which started from pirate radio and worked its way through the ranks. This success paved the way for interviews with Trevor Nelson and Ras Kwame on Radio 1, Dynamite MC on KISS 100, and DJ Cameo, Ace & Vis and Mistajam on 1xtra.

His experience in all forms of radio is what keeps Mike Delinquent in the forefront of the scene. Supporting cutting edge, well produced music has always been number 1 priority, and those who listen are always glued to what will be spun next.

@MikeDelinquent has just completed a 6 week stint on leading underground station Rinse.FM. As the highest charting act on the station, Mike’s contribution was instrumental in the station’s push to become a legal entity. Sure enough, Rinse have become legal and Mike ended his “loan spell” knowing his work was put to good use.

As the scene changes, Mike’s radio brief remains the same; Support quality music. However, more recently, he’s added another string to his bow. In all his new radio shows, Mike Delinquent supports eclectic underground music and all nu talented UK artistes, signed or unsigned. It’s a passion of his to create a platform for those who are looking for the opportunity to have their music heard on the airwaves.
