Mindset Records was formed in 2006 as part of Mindset Entertainment, run by Mike himself. It was set up to release quality material to the masses, concentrating on the song element primarily. Under dance division Mindset Dance, KCAT’s “Get Off The Wall” was the label’s first promo release. This was only sold on vinyl, and the track is still in huge demand to this day.
 
Mindset Records then created it’s debut release “Boys Don’t Cry” by KCAT supported by a hugely glossy music video. This video was playlisted on THE BOX nu music plus, a phenomenal achievement from a small independent label. “Boys Don’t Cry” was followed by The Mike Delinquent Project’s debut release GENESIS EP. This EP was supported by djs such as Toddla T, Ras Kwame, Mistajam, Cameo, EZ, DJ Q, Seani B, Woody, Jamie Duggan, Nev Wright, Shaun Banger Scott and others.
 
All releases to date have received specialist airplay on top UK stations such as BBC Radio 1, 1xtra, KISS 100 and Galaxy Network in addition to nightclubs across the world.
